1. Put programming switch up
2. Push function button until display reads mc pay out
3. Use ^ and Ú button to read on
4. Push function button to read hop val
5. Push value button to read 25
6. Push function button to read accept $1
7. Push ^ button to read yes
8. Push value button to read accept $
9. Push ^ button to read yes
10. Repeat 8,9 for $10 and $20 if you accept them
11. Press function to read $1 pay
12. Press ^ Ú to read 4 mc mc
13. Press value button to read $5 pay
14. Press ^ Ú to read 20 mc mc
15. Press value button to read $10 pay
16. Press ^ Ú to read 40 mc mc
17. Press value button to read $20 pay
18. Press ^ Ú to read2 x 40 mc mc
19. Press function to read stacker mode
20. Press ^ Ú button to read sep
21. Press value to read stack $1
22. Press ^ Ú button to read upper
23. Press value to read stack $5
24. Press ^ Ú button to read lower
25. Press value to read stack $10

27. Repeat for $20
28. Put programming switch down

Pull Back Shut Down Feature
To program your Rowe BC1400 to shut down when an attempt is made to string your bill changer, follow these simple programming instructions: <![endif]>
1. Located on the left side of your Rowe display panel is the switch to change the normal operating mode to the programming mode. Move the switch up to activate the programming mode.
2 Depress the function button until the display reads: "Programming -- -- "
3 Using the ^ Ú buttons, set the first set of numbers to 11.
4 Push the value button to accept.
5 Again using the ^ Ú buttons, set the second set of numbers to 30.
6 Push the value button to accept.
7 The display will now read: "PULLBK SHTDN OFF"
8 Using the ^ Ú buttons set the shut down length of time (in minutes).
9 Switch the unit back to normal operating mode by using the switch located on the left side of the Rowe display panel. The display panel will now read: "STORING NEW DATA"
10 The machine has now been programmed If an attempt is made to string your bill changer, the display will record when the attempt was made. Ie. "02 04 = 15 AGO"
1. The first set of numbers on the display represents the number of days since the attempt was made.
2. The second set of numbers represents the number of hours.
3. The last set of numbers represents the number of minutes.
Using the example above, the stringing attempt occurred 2 days, 4 hours and 15 minutes ago.

1. Enter programming mode by putting the normal/programming switch up into "programming" position.
2. Push the "function" button until the display shows "programming _ _ _ _".
3. Use the ^ button to enter "11" in the first two digits.
4. Press the "value" button.
5. Use the ^ button to enter "29" in the second digits.
6. Press the "value" button. The display will show the lowest denomination of bill programmed to be accepted in the left half of the display. The right half will show three numbers which mean the following; 1 st digit to the left; number of shown bills accepted
2 nd digit to the left; in this amount of time (min)
3 rd digit to the left; shuts machine down for this amount of time.
Amounts changed by ^ Ú buttons
"hopper" button moves cursor
"value" button steps through all other programmed denominations to be accepted

The last step to be programmed is the "all" step. This function covers all denominations programmed for acceptance. Any combination of all bills accepted in this programmed amount of time will shut the machine down for this amount of time. Note: Any individual denomination, or the "all" feature can be turned off by setting the number of bills accepted for that particular bill to zero.
