Entry Wizard FAQ

 

Problem:
The credit card reader does not read cards when swiped.

Solutions:
1. The printer is jammed.
2. The power supply is unplugged.
3. Wiring is loose.

Problem:
The Entry Wizard continues to show Please Wait, even after the prior car has left the bay.

Solution:
1. Debris is blocking the treadle plate photo eye.
2. The eye has failed, or there is water in the eye.

Problem:
Credit card acceptance freezes up.

Solution:
1. Noise on the phone line can cause problems. Install a line noise suppressor.

Problem:
When POS transactions occur from the quick lube, the customers are able to use the POS codes, however the transactions don't appear on the SNC reports.

Solution:
1. Check to see if the replication manager is running on the SNC. It replicated the databases from the Entry Wizards.
